We have been in business for the past couple of decades. For the past 30 years, Bernard Drolet ran the business with a mind to singlehandedly develop the car servicing industry in the neighbourhood. In 1986, Drolet and his son Doug joined the business and built a shop where Bernie repaired the electrical and machined engine parts and Doug concentrated on repairing the light and heavy duty vehicles.
With a high level of expertise, soon the shop turned into a success. We expanded from just 4 car repairers in Canada to 8 in record time. More and more personnel joined to serve in the busy parts and service departments along with the opening off a customer lounge that now serves beverages and has a television.
In 2011, B & D Industrial became a franchise group member and was honoured with the Truck Pride Service Experts of the year Award. The inspectors then paid a visit to the shop and noticed changes in the new facility. We offer the best customer service in the business and would like to have you on board as our most chosen customer for a long time to come. We offer free shuttles for customers and visual inspections to a returning customer absolutely free of cost.
Amanda, Doug’s daughter joined the ranks of his grandfather’s and father’s business. She is a capable manager who manages the operations of the business and after Bernie’s death in 2013; she took over the charge of his legacy.
