Keep a check on your battery: If not check regularly battery can suffer a breakdown. Check the connections for cleanliness and maintain the desire water level time to time to extend the battery life for years.

Check the battery is well guarded against vibration. Vibrated batteries not only cause damage but also short circuit. Insulate your battery properly from extreme climatic conditions/temperature variations, during extreme winter climates, with the available insulation kit. The sleeves are made of acid/thermal resistant plastic but still it vents out the vapors to form corrosive deposits which needs to be cleaned.

Keep a tab on the cables: To avoid short circuit, the cables have to be checked and replaced if they show signs of rupturing. Loose connections, if found, should be well secured.

Check on the car breaks: Application of breaks prevents a car from a fatal crash. Considering it as a safety equipment periodic maintenance is mandatory to maintain maximum breaking efficiency. If any problems are noticed it is to be serviced immediately. This is one of the important aspects in vehicle maintenance. Lubricate them for smooth functioning and check their flexibility from time to time.

Check on tires: The pneumatic pressure inside the tires takes the entire load of the vehicle. Hence pneumatic pressures should be checked every day to keep the inflation properly. Wearing of the treads should be inspected by wear indicators in every week. If the wearing crosses the acceptable limit it is to be replaced.

Oil: Lubrication is similar to blood circulatory system of the operating accessories. Check the oil level once a week. Get the oil changed when your car have run 4,000–4,500 mile (6,400–7,200 km) limit.

Cleaning of exhaust system: The exhaust pipe when found covered with accumulated deposits of combustion, to be cleaned. Otherwise clogging of the exhaust pipe builds pressure inside the car with the disastrous results.
