In comparison to gas engines, diesel engines do not feature electrical ignition parts like plugs and wires, or other moving parts like distributor rotor that wear down frequently. 1. Oil And Filter Changes Frequently

In order to keep your truck’s diesel engine functioning in the perfect manner for a long time, frequent changes of the oil and filter is a necessity. This increases the life of your engine and keeps it running smoothly for years.

2. Add A Bottle Of Diesel Treatment

It is recommended that in times of refueling your truck at a petrol station to add a bottle of diesel treatment to the engines. This helps to keep away impurities like dust and dirt from jamming the engine.

3. Drain The Engine’s Water Separator

The engine’s water separator is located near the fuel filter and helps in collecting water from the fuel.
